Dáša Raimanová, is a London-Berlin-based documentary director from Slovakia, whose work explores socio-political topics. Her Polish Film Institute-supported short film, Gypsy Gadji (2024) won the best short doc at Lucania Film Festival (Italy, 2024) and is currently screening on the international film festival circuit. POLYLAND (2018), an activist documentary she directed and co-produced, was screened at international film festivals and sixty community screenings across Europe. It became part of Amnesty International's campaign against hate crimes in Poland. She recently completed an Arte RE: Queer in Orban’s Hungary and since 2018, Dáša has worked for the documentary department at the international broadcaster Deutsche Welle (DW) in Berlin for which she directed & produced several short docs including Rich & Poor (2024) with 1 Million online views; Sinti and the Holocaust (2024) and Across the Road - Worlds Apart (2019), the latter was broadcast in nine European countries and counts 700K views on DW YouTube platforms.
